Overview
Treasure Hacks follows the typical formatting of online hackathons. Students in groups of up to four, are to come up with a project of any type and come up with a working solution using programming. Our hackathon is open to any level of programmers (if you are a beginner, attend our super helpful workshops!).
Treasure Hacks 3.5 is also Generative AI and Blockchain themed! At this event, we've invited industry professionals to speak about their generative AI products, companies that help ease the process of learning to code with the blockchain, and much more. However, if you do not want to develop in these themes, we still have a general category that you can compete in where you can build whatever you'd like!
In addition to the competition, we have plenty of events like a sponsor teaching programmers how to use their product, an industry computer scientist sharing their experience, or a teacher teaching basic skills.
We also plan to present step-by-step instructions to help you through every part of a hackathon like making and using a GitHub, turning in your project, etc. More information on our website.
Registration
First, you must sign up on our registration form. Then, depending on whether you have a team or not you will sign up on devpost (Right here!). If you do not have a team, don't worry! We have partnered with Groupr to help ease this process and create the ideal team. Once you have created your team, you must sign up on devpost.
Time/Location/Eligibility
Our hackathon will take place online from April 28-30. Anyone who is currently attending middle school, high school, or college is able to participate.

Requirements
All projects must be submitted before 11:59 PM PST on April 29th. For submissions, we need:

- Your code, which is located on GitHub and is public.
- It is also highly recommended, but not strictly required, to make a 5-minute max video either explaining or demoing your project. (Not having a video will likely hurt your score significantly)
